As Senior Software Engineer, Jakub works primarily on the front-end, working side-by-side with Leigh to develop the framework. He develops new components and dashboards, expands the current functionality and generally works on making the interaction between user and data as smooth as possible. Jakub also focuses on accessibility of content, making sure the product can be used by the broadest range of possible users.
Before joining Sennen, Jakub worked at design, architecture and engineering firm Arup as a Full Stack Developer, on a web app with React, Node.js & Express for engineering data, among other projects.
He graduated with a Masters in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Edinburgh and is a STEM ambassador, passionate about promoting STEM education and careers to young people. Outside of work, Jakub is passionate about languages and linguistics, plays the drums and likes to swim and cycle (though not at the same time).
